We’re back to the Keep on the Shadowfell in Episode 22! After a detour to kill the Grinch at the behest of Santa, the party is back in the dark, cave like keep. We leap right back into exploring said keep, which of course means we spend a bunch of time at the beginning talking about anything but D&D, but we do get there, I promise. Also, Sammy draws a dick. Update: It looks like the problem fixed itself. I made some changes to the feed, too, to make the episode names consistent.
If you’re an iTunes user, it seems that iTunes isn’t listing Episode 2 for no particularly good reason. I’ve checked the site, the feed, and the iTunes settings and nothing seems to be amiss, but it’s just not there. For now, I recommend using the RSS feed and adding it directly to iTunes, instead of trying to use the iTunes store.

Hopefully it’s just a glitch in iTunes that will fix itself, but I’m not holding my breath. Apple continues to do nothing to address concerns about how iTunes is run, or the complete lack of transparency for the user or publisher. Currently, it just doesn’t work, and I don’t know why.
The third and final part of the 2013 Chrismas episode is finally here! It only took us until a whole month after Christmas to get through the episode, but here we are! We pick straight up from last time, and the party is about to fight Gren’Kell, a rather large and nasty troll, in an attempt to recover a special item for Mr. Woods. Christmas comes around the longest night of the year, so will our heroes live to see the light of day? Spoiler: Yeah, they will, because otherwise we wouldn’t have a show anymore. We hope it’s exciting, anyway.

First thing’s first! Sorry about the burps. Aaron was in rare, disgusting form for this part of the recording, so apologies for the considerable number of beer belches throughout this episode. Not much to be done about them, unfortunately. Now that that’s handled, last week ended on a cliffhanger, and we’re waiting to see if Barnaby makes the jump onto the small island in the dark, fetid water. Sammy needs to roll a minimum of 5 on the d20 to make it. Will Barnaby make it across, or plummet into the filthy water? We’ll find out this week!

A lot of people have an image of gamers as being anti-social weirdos. To be honest, some of us are. So, since you’ve earned XP all year, I think it’s high time to level up, and win at charity.

I really love Harmontown, and especially Spencer Crittenden’s D&D Dungeon Mastery towards the end of the show. He really prompted me to up my own game as a DM. With that in mind, and since there wasn’t any D&D on this week’s Harmontown, I decided to make something related to it, for my own amusement. So, here it is:
