Quick update! We’re still alive, and working on the next episodes, but time has been a factor. Also, an update on what we’re going to do in the future.

Last time on 2 Guys, a Girl, and a Goblin, Chuck Law was contemplating shooting a 9 year old in the face! Toots and Ivana were advocating diplomacy, and Splyg was wondering why he came in to work this morning. What will Chuck do? Find out in this week’s exciting episode!

What else is there to say? I think it’s safe to say that it took someone like J.J. Abrams, a kid who grew up loving Star Wars, to understand what made it fun. We’ve been disappointed before, (Oh how we’ve been disappointed!) but this feels different.

Chewie…we’re home.
If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if you gave David Lynch a large budget and asked him to direct a Sci-Fi epic co-starring a mostly naked Sting, wonder no longer! In 1984, Lynch directed Dune, a movie that took over a decade, and several aborted attempts, to produce. Based on the classic Frank Herbert penned Sci-Fi novel of the same name, Dune turned out to be such a mess, Lynch has disowned it. So, of course, we had to watch it, joined by my improv buddy Marc R. Sorry in advance, and remember: Walk without rhythm, and you won’t attract the worm!
Dune is available from Amazon on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Amazon Instant Video.

Our friends at the EFF have scored a major victory for podcasters against the patent trolls.
San Francisco – The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) invalided key claims in the so-called “podcasting patent” today after a petition for review from the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF)—a decision that significantly curtails the ability of a patent troll to threaten podcasters big and small.
Good news for podcast fans everywhere.

We all love Jon Snow. My household is solidly pro-Stark and pro-Targaryen, and we’re looking forward to the inevitable alliance as Ice and Fire are united. That being said, Jon Snow sucks at small talk. Like, really, really sucks. A fact that Seth Meyers learned the hard way.

If you haven’t already had enough of the sound of my voice, I did some voice acting for former Cradle of Filth bassist Dave Pybus! It’s a short bit during the intro of his new podcast Life is a Hideous Thing. I play both sides of a conversation between an astronaut and NASA.
The podcast itself is an interesting conversation with renowned fantasy & D&D artist Brom, so it’s right up our alley.
If you ever wanted to hear me talking to myself in a more structured manner than I normally talk to myself, check it out!
I come in at about (1:11) of Episode 5.

When last we left our heroes, Toots was about to make a death saving throw, having been put down by some nasty zombies. We pick up right were we left of, with the result of that roll. I’m tired and can’t come up with anything more interesting to say about this episode, but trust me, it’s a fun one.

If you’ve ever wanted to watch a movie starring Bruce Springsteen’s younger sister as a girl who used to be a boy, then strap in, because we watched Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers! A sequel to the 1981 horror / transphobia film Sleepaway Camp, 1989’s Sleepaway Camp IIstars Pamela Springsteen as the “reformed” slasher from the first film, though it takes basically no time at all for her to go back to her murderous ways. This week, Jake G joined us to watch this cinematic gem, so check it out!
