S1E33 – Season 1 Retrospective Part 1

Season 1 is finished! Thirty two episodes, and Kalarel has been stopped, and the Nentir Vale can rest easy for the moment. This episode is a look back at the first 23 episodes of the season, including a rundown of what happened and clips from some of the more important or fun moments. Episode 34 will delve in to episodes 24-32 along with our favorite moments from Season 1 and tales of games past. If you’ve been with us from the beginning, this is your chance to relive some of the best moments of Season 1, and if you’re new to the show, these episodes should help get you up to speed. After the retrospective, we’ll give a quick preview of what’s to come, and then it’s on to Season 2, with all new characters and setting!

Goblin’s Log #2

A super quick update on what’s going on with the show. I’ve personally been very busy, and on top of that, Sammy’s car has let slip this mortal coil, so we’re doing a lot of ride sharing, so it’s been pretty crazy here. The retrospective episode, which will be coming out next, requires a lot more work than the normal episodes, since this is a clip show, and I have to cut things in to it. I am working on it, but it takes a lot of time, so it’s behind schedule. Stay tuned, though, all the stuff is there, I just need to cut it in, and I hope to have it by the end of next week or beginning of the week after. We’ll have something for you soon!

S1E32 – Tempus is Gonna F*ck Your Corpse

This is it! The season finale is here, and it all comes down to this moment, the final battle against Kalarel and his minions. We have action, drama, and the return of an old friend. The next episode is going to be a retrospective on Season 1, and then we’ll have a preview of Season 2, a short break, and we’ll be back with more episodes. Roll for initiative!

S1E31 – This is a Lovely Room of Death!

In the last episode, we resolved the monster explosion as the result of our heroes’ trap. Episode 31 is the penultimate episode of season 1, and our heroes fight their way to the final chamber and their final confrontation with Kalarel, priest of Orcus. We also learned that when Aaron gets nervous, he eats his beard (pic below). Episode 32 is in two weeks, and is the final episode of Season 1. After that, we’ll have a retrospective on Season 1, talk about some of our favorite moments from this season and from previous campaigns, and give a preview of season 2, with all new characters and a new setting.

S1E30 – Wow…Much Fire…Very Dangerous

Last episode, our heroes tried to get a good night’s rest, but someone else had another idea. This week, we find out who’s come a’knockin’ and there’s a huge explosion. Splug has never been happier.

S1E29 – If You Survive, You Get Popcorn

Last episode saw our heroes fighting a Gelatinous Cube, followed by opening a door that triggered some sarcophagi to disgorge their payloads into the room. We pick up in this episode right where we left off, and find out what happened with those sarcophagi.

S1E28 – It Suddenly Got Shiny in Here

Update: This time I’ll attach the damn file.

We are back from hiatus! Episode 28 finds the party backtracking, attempting to finish off killing any more hobgoblins that might have been behind them, before attempting to stop Kalarel and save the world from certain destruction. If the world knew that its fate rested on the shoulders of our heroes, the world would probably have a bit more trouble sleeping at night. As it stands, the world has a bit of sleep apnea, but it has it under control.

Dark Dungeons Premiering at GenCon

As the leader of a dark coven, it might seem to be against my interests to promote a film that exposes our evil scheming, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. You see, we are already everywhere, and Jack Chick and his cronies are too late. TOO LATE! As I sit on my throne of blood, this sort of pitiful attempt to defend children from our machinations is simply amusing, so I pass it on to you, my good victims. So I ask you:

Goblin’s Log #1

It’s a super short hosty (hostfull is copyright Nerdist Industries) episode because Sammy and I are prepping and making projects for ACEN. We haven’t had time to record any new episodes, but I wanted to make sure something got out for this weekend. We talk about what’s happening, and what might happen as things wrap up with the Keep on the Shadowfell, including a possible change of settings. Stick with us, though, we should be back to normal and finish up the current adventure after a quick hiatus.
